Derek Gow

Derek Gow is a freelance ecologist, farmer and nature conservationist living in Devon . He has worked on a broad range of restoration projects for British Mammals since the early 1990’s and is a specialist in the captive breeding of many species. Over 24,000 water voles have been bred in his facilities for release into a diverse range of landscapes from the cairngorms in the north to the languid river Meon in southern England. Derek has travelled widely to visit nature conservation projects worldwide and is currently engaged in rewilding an area of 120 acres on his farm.
